Milliners Wharf – Identity

We were asked to create a mini brochure to promote Milliners Wharf, a development in the heart of Manchester’s historic hat making district. The budget was limited, so we had to think of a way for the brochure to stand out in a tough marketplace.

The ‘brochure hat’ was born.

This unique approach enabled us to exploit social media, the idea being that people could upload photos of themselves ‘wearing’ the brochure to flickr. The initial brief was transformed from a standard mini brochure to something esoteric and distinctive.
